In this article we will try to understand that why Ketu give its best results in the 12th house.
Please Note, this planetary house placement has to be taken as per the Cusp or KP chart, not lagan chart, now why am I using cusp chart, to understand that you must read my article on cusp chart.
Here is the link: http://nikhilworld.com/cusp-or-kp-chartplacidus-system/
Anyways coming back to the topic:
See, 12th house governs foreign land which actually means detachment from the birth land.
12th house governs sleep and dreams which is also a kind of detachment from the realistic world.
12th house governs imprisonment which is also a kind of detachment from the mainstream world.
In short, 12th house primarily governs all kinds of detachments; hence in general you can name it a house of loss.
Crux of the matter is; when you look at the 12th house from the perspective of spirituality, then you will call it a house of detachment and when you have a materialistic perspective, then this house becomes the house of a loss.
Since detachment happens to be the most important condition for achieving enlightenment or moksha, therefore this house is also known as the house of Moksha or enlightenment.
Now, if you want to explain Ketu in 2 words, then those 2 words would be detachment and enlightenment.
Hope you all can now easily understand that why Moksha Karaka Ketu gives extraordinary results in the 12th house. Of course holistic analysis of chart is essential before giving any prediction.
Here you all must be thinking, that why Nikhil is not talking anything about the sign which Ketu should occupy, so friends if Ketu happens to occupy its exaltation or friendly signs then obviously that would be an added advantage BUT you all must keep 1 point very clearly in your mind, i.e. BHAVA PLACEMENT of a PLANET HOLDS MUCH more importance than any other factor in Astrology and that is why I am discussing house placement here instead of discussing Ketu’s effect in 12 different signs.
Ketu also gives good results in 3rd, 6th and 9th houses.
Here, for your information, people like Queen Elizabeth (one of the longest serving monarch in the world), King of Thailand Mr Bhumibol (again one of the longest serving monarch in the world), King Abbas I of Persia, Emperor Alexander I of Russia, Great Pandavas of Mahabharata like Arjun and Bheema and many other great people have their Ketu placed in the 12th house as per the cusp chart.
Lastly the placement of Ketu in the 12th house is more desirable than its aspect i.e. placement is always more powerful than aspect.
Do I really need to say anything more about the power of Ketu in 12th house?
Thanks for reading this article.
